Beware do not trust room description
Location was good
Beds and room not as described. They said two large double beds, this is completely inaccurate. When we raised this and asked for roll out beds they did not even bother to get back to us. We saw a mouse in the restaurant, the place was under construction and staff were rude. They didnt clean the room every day. All in all a very expensive hotel that was not worth the amount we paid for it. Definitely would not book again.

Fab location, staff welcoming but issues should be addressed straight away in a five star hotel
Didn't eat breakfast there. Location was absolutely perfect as we had a concert in St Giles cathedral across the road.Check in was good but had a long wait to both check in AND check out.didnt seem to be enough staff to deal with issues.Meghan at reception - lovely friendly Irish girl - in the perfect job for her!!always so welcoming.
TV did NOT work in the room which was very annoying and despite reporting it after being in the room once this was never fixed throughout our stay. Hence the reason why the scoring is so poor. Bad enough that it didn't work but worse that they didn't rectify it.

An executive room without a piece of paper or pen. Executive Room without a sofa or enough chairs for 2 people to sit on. Minimal amenities - no room sleepers, only 1 hand towel for double occupancy . The water in the shower does not flow. Had to turn off the shower 3 times before completing the shower.. This is the worse hotel I have stayef.

A wonderful experience staying at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton
Location was central which was perfect for exploring. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Coffee machine and luxury toiletries made our stay enjoyable. Excellent choice available at breakfast.
