    The Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown is a beautiful hotel housed in a restored 1886 bank building. Guests were impressed by the clean and spacious rooms, as well as the historical architecture. T (Read More)he staff were kind and accommodating, and the on-site restaurant served a delicious continental breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located near various attractions including the lakefront, public market, theater, and museums. Overall, guests highly recommend the hotel and would stay again in the future.

    Had very high hopes to enjoy our stay but were let down.
    Building is gorgeous and location is ideal.
    Stayed for 6 nights, room was only cleaned ONE time only after requesting service from the front desk multiple times (and were told we were listed down for DAILY cleaning). Front desk were not apologetic, and only gave a minor discount after continuous complaint. We ended up putting on our own new sheets and cleaning our own room at 8pm after being handed a stack of towels and bedding. For the amount of money paid, it is disappointing housekeeping was basically nonexistent.

    Beautiful building and great stay!
    The building is beautiful. It's cool to read about the history. Our room was comfy, the beds were comfortable and the staff member I talked to was so kind and funny. The location was wonderful. We liked the restaurant as well.
    While checking out the hotel, there were old dishes stacked on some decorative tables in the hallways. One even had a moldy orange slice in it. Not sure why those were out there. We also struggled to plug in our fridge and found an incredible amount of dust built up behind the case that held the microwave, coffee maker and fridge.

    Beautiful , old fashion hotel with a sweeping staircase and high ceilings. Friendly staff, on site restaurant. Perfect location.

    Unique building with old school lobby area; excellent location downtown close to HOP, Third Ward, Public Market, and Riverwalk; safe and clean; kind staff; good food at The Social for breakfast and/or a quick snack; comfortable beds, TVs have cable, Netflix, and Youtube you can steam from your phone on; complimentary snacks
