    We felt ripped off as we have stayed there many times over the years. It needs a major refurb.
    Location is good. Pool is good
    Dirty, poor staff training, food average. Room 11 was a disgrace for the money. Far to expensive for a hotel that is run down and below standard.

    Better places to stay in Taupo and certainly not worth the money.
    Restaurant staff were lovely. Good views and large rooms. Pool was nice and warm.
    Not worth the money. Restaurant was good but kept running out of the things we wanted to order (staff were excellent though). There were holds and charges paid to my account that I was not told about and staff at front counter were not helpful. Would definitely not stay here again as there are better places closer to the lake front.

    Not the best Hilton experience
    The room was nice and clean. The pool was heated. The buffet was ok could gave been better.
    To begin with the shower in bathroom has very very low pressure. We stayed for 2 nights, the house keeping didnt give us toiletries. The buffet breakfast that we had included in our stay was only from 7am to 9 30pm. And were made to wait 5 minutes for our table. Let's just stay it was the worst Hilton experience we had, and we do stay on lots of Hilton hotels.

    Good room size
    TV did not work, room wasnt cleaned and had to be reminded so someone can come and clean the room. AC was making random noises. Bedside lamp wasnt working when we checked in.

    Good hotel, if the cleaning service being standardized will make my trip excellent.

    my room had not been cleaned, the cleaner knocked the door and just change the bag of two rubbish bins. Thats all. I guess that they are too overloaded.

    Fun, clean and tidy
    The room was spacious for 3 people, clean and tidy. The pool was an total hit with both the kids and adults: great size pool, temperature, variety hvaing 2 pools and spa all as one
    Was hard to only have the sink in the bathroom as your only source of getting water to drink, fill up the jug, rinse dishes etc
