I was disappointed that there were complimentary razors and shaving cream available, and advertised in the bathroom of our room. However there were no tampons or pads advertised or available at the front desk upon request. It seems crazy and also discriminatory. Hoping you can rectify this. thanks

Great place to stay in Queenstown
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room (ours also came with an amazing view of the mountain), fairly close to the city centre (a few minutes walk). We really appreciated the option to get our breakfast pre-packaged when we had to leave very early in the morning for our day tour.
I did 2 payments. The first was done wrong in the value of total booking USD and should be done in NZD on the moment of check in. They said that the payment was only a deposit and on the check out I could choose another credit card. On the check out i did a second payment and i wasn't refunded completely on the first. I tried contact with the hotel many times, but unfortunately they are forcing me to make the evaluation before solve the problem.
I'm waiting the answer from the hotel and the reimburse, otherwise i will report the bank as a fraud. I let clear since i did the payment on check in that had not intention the use deposit card to make the final payment and unfortunately they are creating problems. From booking.com I'd like to get the protocol number of this contestation.

Nice facilities but staff let it down for us
Hotel facilities were nice and its very clean.
Staff behind reception / bar area were really poor and slow, every time you asked for something, a drink or a questions they either had to get someone else or couldn't do it. I get the hotel was busy over Christmas, but whenever you ordered a drink there was nobody else there but still took so long to get anything. One morning I asked to order a barista coffee as I didn't fancy one of out the FREE breakfast buffet machine, this was at 7.15am and breakfast started at 6 or 6.30am. The Coffee machine wasn't even turned on and after I had paid $11 for two coffees, I was told it would take at least 15 minutes to heat up, after waiting a while I got fed up as we had to leave to go on a tour, hence the take away coffee order. The barista asked me, do you mind if I just make you one from the breakfast buffet! - again this is a FREE option that I could have got in the first place and they expected me to be happy with paying $11 and getting the free option. The hotel gave us two drinks vouchers to compensate but I would've rather have been told the coffee machine wasn't before paying and gone somewhere else.
Location is pretty central but on a very steep hill all around so wherever you walk its either up hill or down. You do need a car but parking around there Christmas time was a nightmare.

Unfair hidden fees.
The price advertised on booking.com was $936.00 (includes taxes and charges) but we were charged $953.78 at the hotel. There was also a $100 bond which they took the difference out of.
When we called to ask why we didnt receive our full bond back the answer was its a credit card fee, which is advertised in booking.com which in fact nothing was advertised.
There was nothing stated that there was any additional fees or charges if we were to pay at the hotel, we have never experienced this before plus it was a debit card used and not credit.
Unfair hidden fees.
