The Holiday Inn Fredericksburg - Conference Center has helpful and pleasant staff, prompt housekeeping, and very clean rooms. There is ample parking and a variety of food options nearby. The rooms ha (Read More)ve modern amenities and are clean and comfortable. The hotel is considered better than The Hampton Inn. One minor concern mentioned is the $50 hold for incidentals and the inquiry about breakfast during registration. Overall, it was a great stay.

OVER ALL THIS STAY WAS NOT AS NICE AS THE PREVI0US STAY.
THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE. THE ROOM WAS VERY QUIET.
THE BATHROOM IN THE ROOM WE STAYED IN THIS VISIT HAD SOME ISSUES. THE CEILING AND THE BASE IN A PORTION OF THE SHOWER WAS DARK AND WORN. THE SHOWER DOORS DID NOT ALLOW ACCESS TO THE TOWEL RACK, THEY HAD NOT INSTALLED THEM CORRECTLY.

Room had a lot of problems the shower was very difficult to get the water up to the shower head. The window shade mechanism was broken and I tried to manually lift the shade with two loose wires and I was shocked because it turned out that those wires were live!!!

Cleanliness of room
The tv glitched out or turned off completely. Ice machine on my floor was broken. Kids overran the pool and lobby at all times. I was there for four days and I feel like I could have been put a little separated from daily guests. Teens or college students were booked on both sides of me Sunday night and blasted music and partied from 12-3am and I couldnt call anyone to stop it. Woke me up and had to stay up until they left. Desk is not manned at night which is fine but the customer service online could not help either.
