The location was around 50 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes from Alton Towers. The parking and storage space in the rooms were adequate, and the breakfast offerings were well-received. Overall, the hotel was highly recommended.

Very good

We enjoyed our stay and return there in future

The breakfast was superb but I wish it was inclusive of the payment for the room and not as an extra cost.

Normal meals served for dinner not just pizza or snacks on Christmas Day

Superb

Very enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay again if I was visiting the area.

Excellent food, very attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very clean, great facilities.

Poor

Out of control children having races in the corridor at 22:30, littering the place with sweet wrappers. No written instructions for the central heating / air conditioning, which I could not make comfortable. Coffee in restaurant at breakfast was tired and weak and simply undrinkable. Overall, not good value.

Generally a pleasant stay, but dissappointing

The room generally looked nice with good facilities. The majority of staff were very good and friendly

The receptionist was prejudgemental - when we arrived, two men, she said I can tell the room is wrong for you, I asked why - she said the room only had one bed, I asked if it was a double, she said yes and she could tell this wouldn't be suitable. To which I advised her it, it was perfectly suitable and it was what my partner and I wanted, no apology it just seemed very rude to pre-judge people. (us as a couple) The bed was very firm, but difficult to please everyone I guess. The bathroom fan was quite noisy and the shower flooded the bathroom. Which meant I had to cut my shower short. ( it was cleared and resolved whilst we when down for breakfast but meant my partner couldn't shower until after his breakfast. The restaurant floor was filthy, it looked like a very busy morning service, but there were noodles on the floor, which must have been from the night before. The adjacent table when ours was split to a 2 was left with beans and messy, quite off-putting when you are eating breakfast. Although food and restaurant staff very good and attentive.

Exceptional

Best budget hotel.

The overall experience was excellent. Highly professional and polite staff, good services, exceptionally clean environment and delicious breakfast. Intact, it exceeded my expectation. The bed was sooooooooo comfortable that we had to extend our stay by two days.

Superb

Great value. Clean and comfortable

Double beds were very comfortable. We had two rooms to accommodate us and 3 children. The rooms had a connecting door but it could be locked on either side. The TVs worked well. Rooms were clean. 2 double beds in each room. Total around 150 for both rooms for one night. We were able to park before check in for free which was great. An easy 20 min walk to the edge of the main city centre. We were also welcome to use a breakfast table near the bar to play games in the evening.

The breakfast was expensive at 15 each but there is a McDonald's next door. We went to the pudding pantry in Beeston instead. Beware, the portions there are huge!
