    This Holiday Inn in St. Augustine is highly praised for its perfect location close to the old city. Guests enjoyed being able to easily explore the area. The rooms are clean and updated, and the bath (Read More)room is in excellent condition. However, some guests were disappointed with the breakfast as the pastries were already gone by 9am and were not being refilled. The front desk clerk and bartender received positive mentions for their friendly and accommodating service.

    Very old facility, our room door lock was broken and our keys would not open the door, despite numerous tries by the facility guy.., small room, hotels surroundings are pretty dirty, old and not maintained.

    Would stay elsewhere in St Augustine.
    Were IHG members and generally enjoy staying at IHG properties. We liked that we could walk to historic st Augustine. We also liked the fresh water offered in the lobby though it runs out early & not refilled often enough so we missed the water the last two nights.
    The property was being renovated & the front desk staff placed us on the floor being renovated. There was dust & drywall in our room daily. Room was not cleaned 2 days of our stay. It was not very restful and we were very disappointed.

    Close to attractions but subpar hotel and stay.
    Location is the only reason to stay here and the fact that its dog friendly.
    The door to our room was close to inoperable. We had to slam our whole body against it to open it. I booked through booking.com which evidently doesnt translate the bringing a dog component. Upon check in, the final question was are you traveling with an animal and I replied yes, to which she states well that changes everything. Breakfast was subpar, beds were hard but bathrooms seemed clean.

    The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The management worked so hard to provide a good service during our Christmas stay despite being short staffed.
