    Location was perfect
    The parking was horrendous, not only steep but large potholes. Had to park in a car park away from the property. Cottage needed attention to detail. Found it was expensive for the quality of fixtures and fittings. One of our group owns a cleaning company and she found a disappointing number of cleaning issues. One of our group has emailed the owner directly but not had an answer as yet.

    Honeypot Cottage Great location holiday cottage
    Very central to the lake and shops and restaurants. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms, everything we needed was in the cottage. Very quick responses and good communication with Anne-Marie our host.
    The steep and heavily stoned drive up to our parking spot.. we only just made it up. Unfortunately we then felt that our car should stay there for the duration of our trip, which was a shame. The layout of the property could perhaps be detailed on booking site ie 3 floors. Our Mum struggled a little with all the steps.

    We chose the cottage, my opinion not suitable for disabled people , we enjoyed our celebrations
    Self catering cottage with all cooking facilities, we dined out for all meals , pub across rd , very convenient for town ,
    Location was great , celebrating 18 & 70 birthdays , but my husband has walking difficulties he struggled with the steep hill to cottage, & steps leading down stairs into cottage front door , not good for a disabled person , but it didnt spoil the holiday he & my family enjoyed there stay ,

    Lovely cottage in the heart of Bowness, everything in easy walking distance, perfect.
    Fabulous quirky cottage in prime location, fully furnished with everything you need.
    The steep road to the car park area which is in need of repair, but saying that its much better than no parking !!

    Lovely stay in a great place
    Great location, plenty room, clean and tidy, homely. Lovely touch with the welcome wine and chocolates. Well stocked with washing and cleaning products.
    Slight damp smell under sink where cleaning products are. Wasnt massively confident with security, just the snub lock however there were no issues.
