    Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Great breakfast. Very nice atmosphere, the proximity of the rooms allows intimacy but also encourage socializing with other guests.
    Overall it was all very clean but a few small things in the bathroom and bedroom could benefit from deeper cleaning

    Beautiful garden, pool and room, you can feel the love this place is run with. They even let me leave my trolley there during a 2 weeks scooter trip through the region.

    Very helpful staff, pleasant pool, nice outdoor area with lots of greenery. Really good breakfast. Clean towels (body, hand, pool) fresh every day.
    Badly connected drains in the bathroom, from which the constant smell of sewage flows. Urinal directly under the shower. My wife finds this an extremely disgusting idea. Even if the design of the beds would allow it and it is directly encouraging, there is no mosquito net, only decorative curtains, not too attractive. Far from the center with poorly equipped surroundings.

    Family friendly, clean and quiet. Well deserved rating.
    Great stay. My granddaughter's (30 months) first experience of a swimming pool. Quiet and comfortable. A nice touch was that the staff lit mosquito coils out side every room during the early evening.
    Nothing to really criticise, but if I had to comment on something then I would say that some of the cooked breakfast items were cold but that's the way food is often served.

    Stunning & Beautiful. The best staff and service ever!
    We just stayed here for our honeymoon and it's one of our favourite places we have ever stayed. Hongkhao Village is breathtakingly beautiful, so much detail to all the design and is all well looked after and maintained. I can't praise the staff enough, they were so helpful and very friendly. Absolutely incredible team. Aomy organised a fantastic loy krathong workshop for all the guests because there was a local festival on. All the guests and staff who took part had a lot of fun. Great breakfast. It's not far in a taxi to the centre of chiang mai and reception will happily book one for you. When getting back from the centre, we found getting one of the red bus taxis a bit cheaper than a tuk tuk, but make sure to pick up a card at reception to show the drivers as most looked a bit confused even when we tried to show them on our phones where it was.

    Some of the closest local restaurants are quite lively and very popular with locals, which we enjoyed. However many of the closest ones have loud music playing so if you'd prefer a more peaceful meal then you might have to walk slightly further or eat in the centre where there's more choice.
