    Hotel Barahi is highly recommended for its exceptional service, luxurious and comfortable rooms, and impeccable staff attention. Guests loved the spa and the deep tissue massage. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious Nepali dishes. The hotel's cleanliness, well-manicured complex, and polite and attentive staff make for a five-star experience. Some minor cons include expensive beauty treatments and a non-working fridge.

    Look elsewhere, not worth the value.
    It had a pool side although we didn't use the pool given the winter season but the ambience was nice during the evening.
    For the price that we paid for, the room size / quality / views were not as expected. I stayed at another hotel around the same time period and in around the same area at half the price with much better views, warmth from staff and a modern touch. Both the room and bathroom were dated. So overall I was rather disappointed. The hot water tap was also an issue on one of the days - it was black water and it wasn't hot and to be fair I told the staff and it got sorted. I booked a room with a balcony and a bath but I was given a room without a balcony or a bath and when I raised this with the reception, they told me they had upgraded me. To be fair the room they "upgraded" me to was much more modern but it didn't have what I wanted after a trek - a balcony / bath. The room which was provided was very much more outdated with non tile flooring, no views of the annapurna range and small bathroom.

    Beautiful place near everything with comfortable, clean, rooms and an excellent staff
    Rooms are very nice, staff is warm, engaging and pleasant, breakfast is excellent. WiFi is fast, water pressure and hot water are good, and the heat is great. The hotel location is perfect with the lake a couple of minutes walk, restaurants and stores nearby and the hotel and grounds are well cared for and attractive.
    Hard to find anything not to like. They are doing a great job.

    Swimming pool was clean and a good size Room spacious and comfy Good housekeeping All staff are very friendly and helpful Lovely breakfast - really nice to have eggs, pancakes and juices made to order Hotel manager kindly offered us a free dinner as we had stayed four nights - very generous

    Amazing hospitality and at the heart of the Lakeside!
    What a beautifully done property. Right in the corner of the Lakeside street, Hotel Barahi is one of the finest hotels Ive stayed in. Amazing and welcoming staff, beautiful grand rooms with modern furniture, amazing breakfast spread and a huge property with a nice pool at the center. I was travelling solo to Nepal and had the greatest of time and hospitality at this hotel. Everyone was welcoming and supportive of my needs. Location is bang on, everything is at walking distance. Really loved it, would come here again whenever in Pokhara.

    Absolutely wonderful!
    The staff are wonderful, service exceptional! Especially Sirjana in the restaurant- so friendly and welcoming, she made our stay so memorable! The manager Rohit was attentive and made certain our stay was top notch. Should we ever return to Pokhara we will most certainly be staying here again.
