    Hotel Bougainville is a simple yet excellent hotel with great service and stunning views. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast served on the balcony is a nice touch. Prices are high, but that's (Read More) to be expected in Positano. The location is ideal and within walking distance to everything. Some guests experienced noise from neighbors and renovation works, but overall the hotel is in a perfect spot and the staff are exceptionally nice.

    Luxury in Positano
    Bougainville offered up the most professional and helpful staff we had encountered on our recent trip (as well as the second best breakfast). We were here at the end of the tourism season and some locals were a little worn out but not here. The room was small (expected) but well appointed and even had some nice extras like flip flops. We also had a small balcony which was very nice. The location was great as a start point for exploring Positano, accessing the ferries, and even catching a bus to the start of the Pathway Of The Gods hiking trail.
    Nothing to do with the hotel but if you're thinking of Positano, you need to know that it is expensive and in the peak summer months, it can get very crowded given the small streets and laneways.

    Staff was super friendly and very accommodating.
    We liked that it wasnt far from the town square. So not as many steps to climb.
    The bed was very uncomfortable. Too hard it was like sleeping on the floor.

    Highly recommend this hotel in the heart of Positano
    The location was perfect for exploring Positano. The staff were awesome making great recommendations and making us feel special. The rooms were very clean, the shower was fabulous and the bed was comfortable.

    Beautiful town with many people and many stairs!
    breakfast, staff, comfortable facilities. Ima was very helpful and nice!
    Access is a combination of a luggage lift and 25 steps up, or so; a bit clumsy to arrive/depart.
