Hotel Celebrity receives positive reviews for its friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location near Bournemouth seafront. Nice clean and tidy hotel... walls are thin though!!!!

The room itself was very clean and comfortable and the staff very obliging and friendly. We had 3 rooms in total. All of which were close together as requested. All of them very clean and quite large too. The shower in my room wasn't the best but was good enough, not just a trickle of water. The other rooms were fine as well. Breakfast was good, there was plenty available. Could have done with knowing that you could get vegetarian sausages as well but you had to ask for them. My partner would have had some. Also could do with croissants or Pan au chocolate for the kids.

So the walls in the rooms are quite thin, we had very loud and noisy neighbours on either side of us and they decided to party in one room and run from room to room making noise outside my room at 1.30 in the morning. Very disrespectful people. I challenged them and asked them to be quieter and then managed to go speak with night manager and he also asked them but some people just cant be that way I guess. Obviously this is not the hotels fault as they do not pick and chose the customers and they do have a policy about noise that some just ignore.

Needs an upgrade

But the staff were quite nice and it wasnt a terrible space, it just needs an upgrade and change the amount of images thats in the rooms.

The whole hotel had celebrities which I thought was a cool idea however, when it come to the rooms, they had so many pictures of the celebrities faces all of the walls which was a bit creepy. I mean we had Beyonc but I could image it being very creepy if it was anyone else. Anyways the rooms did smell a bit old and dusty and definitely need a bit of an upgrade especially with the amount that we paid for 2 nights. The breakfast felt very cheap and was not the best English breakfast Ive had and the rest of the options werent that good either and had no other milk options for someone whos lactose intolerant.

Room was a good size with tea & coffee facilities. Good entertainment in the hotel lounge. On check in staff were very pleasant but not when checking out.

There was no hot water at all duvet cover had a stain on it & we were greeted by cockroaches running on the carpet in the morning. When speaking to front desk in the morning they acted like either it was o.k or we had brought the roaches with us.
