    We loved the professionalism and warmth of the staff, the absolutely gorgeous hotel and grounds, and the offbeat artsy touches throughout the property. We couldn't say enough about how much we loved this place! So many nice touches. Plus, the hotel is well within walking distance to Sienna, which is very fortunate given that navigating a city with limited auto access is difficult. The breakfast room which is located in the former monastery's old kitchen, with its wood-fired oven and copious offerings, was especially cozy and inviting.
    The one major disappointment for us was the dinner that we had at the hotel's restaurant. It wasn't bad, but it was decidedly under par for this level hotel

    Best stay of our trip!!!
    Our stay here was amazing. The staff was very attentive, and every single person we dealt with was beyond polite and helpful. The hospitality here was superb. The room was very spacious, and the views were amazing. Great drinks at the bar with Francisco. I hope to stay here again
    I had zero complaints. LOVED MY STAY HERE.

    beautiful setting, but unfortunately cannot rely only on setting for people to have a memorable stay
    We loved the setting of the Hotel.
    We expected much more...we upgraded to a bigger more expensive room. It was beautiful and big, however very poor housekeeping. Basics, like offering milk for coffee absent. Never cleaned the floor or surfaces and staying for 5 days, this was not acceptable. We opted for supper the 1st evening and really disappointed in the food however service and ambience was beautiful. We therefore never opted for supper again. Breakfast really great and met our expectations. We had a cocktail last evening and with no Bar tender present, one staff member mixed something and she clearly had no idea what exactly to do. Staff gave us a little gift to apologise and although appreciated, it still sadly doesn't change the experience

    A charming, beautiful, one of a kind hotel in an outstanding location!
    We Loved the location, the hotel in the old monastery, the garden and surrounding hills, the size of our suite and our private patio. We also loved the relaxed atmosphere created by staff, the breakfasts and dinners, the dog on the premises, the benches and chairs in the garden, even now, in late November and December.
    The bathroom in our suite needs some repairs, the staff is aware of the problem and most probably already fixed it.
