    Water in the bathroom has dirty yellow water which was saline.. Seemed like it was pumped right from the sea across.

    Good stay for visit for Velankanni shrine.
    Property is located very near to the Velankanni shrine at a walkable distance. View of the river and the sea in front facing rooms. Staff behaviour was excellent.
    Room could feel congested for 2 people, but good for solo stay.

    Was perfect for our Day long pilgrim stay
    -If you're looking to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Velankini, this is a beautiful and conveniently located compact no frills hotel. The view of the river Vellayar meeting the Bay of Bengal is simply beautiful. -It took us barely 3 minutes to walk to the shrine. -From Velankini Stn it's 5 minutes by auto (these are larger autos with an open carriage that work as a luggage boot) -The staff is courteous, kind and very helpful. They helped us order and have food from nearby restaurants delivered to room. -Serve good tea/coffee -The rooms are clean and exactly as shown as reference on this site. - Has Wi-Fi

    There is no elevator so in case one may have difficulty climbing stairs please use discretion in booking. The tap water is hard water - avoid hair wash with it (use mineral water if you must). Avoid washing any white cloth. You may have to bear with a few short power cuts.

    Disappointed with the unfinished/under construction hotel with bear minimum facilities and high rent
    New room, AC worked well, toilet was good, clean, good location.
    The hotel is still under construction but one floor was just ready and given to customers which is not acceptable with noise and dust and no lift installed. No catering or restaurant in built. No credit card payment facility !! Not worth the high room rent!!

    The place is very dirty. The foul smell around the hotel is so much that we cannot stay there for even an hour. The attitude of the staff is very arrogant. The rooms are very dirty and unhealthy surrounding.
