    Incredible place to spend Christmas
    Its a historical beautiful building placed right near the center, almost in it. We were for the Christmas weekend and its one of the best places to visit for the Christmas holidays. Room was spacious, our car was parked by valet (quit easy to get to the place following the instructions from the hotel). Even no additional charges for the cat. Incredible hotel! New year decorations added vibes.
    Unfortunately I had intentionally booked prestige (more expensive) room in French style, because its was a holiday weekend and gift from me to my family but we were accommodating in the mansard room in rural style, completely not from the photos from my booking. It was the only thing that I wanted to be different (my husband is 2m and low ceiling - it was funny :) it would be nice if hotel show the real photos!

    A wonderful hotel with quality staff
    Having travelled extensively in Europe in 2023, this hotel is definitely the best. We liked almost everything. The staff were outstanding an a credit to the hotel and their individual professions.
    My only criticism is the TV satellite broadcasting. There is a need to rectify the connection with the service provider as transmission to some channels is interrupted.

    Loved the location and it's proximity to the Strasbourg Christmas markets. We also found a coffee shop next to the hotel which was excellent. The staff were so nice and provided us with additional transportation information that made our travel to Colmar so easy and inexpensive. Breakfast was excellent with many different food choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other.
    I truly cannot think of anything that would have made our stay here better.

    Great location, overpriced, no elegant and comfortable public areas to sit and have tea/drink.
    The hotel is very centrally located, across the bridge from the Palace Rohan and the historic island center.
    The hotel appears to be a series of attached buildings that, given the different exteriors, may have served as former homes and/or businesses? I expected an elegant and comfortable public room to sit in, enjoy tea or a drink. There is a smallish room next to the check in desk and small elevator which has a little furniture along the walls to seat 10...however this 'reception' room is really just a space to walk through to enter/leave the hotel. In the winter it's cold from the door being opened. The outside area, pictured on the website, is also long and narrow and parallels the breakfast room. The bar is where the breakfast is held, in a narrow room that one accesses by walking through the 'reception' room.

    My daughter and I enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We had the best night sleep of our whole trip.
    It was close to everything and very charming. Old world charm updated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good with lots of options.
