    We always enjoy visiting Destin.
    Beautiful property in the heart of Baytowne.
    $25 a night for self parking is new since our last stay and a pretty disappointing money grab considering theres really no lack of parking space on this property.

    Location is perfect! A short distance to beach. We rode our bikes. The roof top pool was amazing! The view was exceptional! Definitely be a repeat customer!
    The restaurant was just ok. Not enough variety on the menu and very small portions.

    Contemporary decor, friendly staff
    Its one hotel in a big resort that caters to all levels, groups, corporations while we were staying there they some Gala fundraiser that took away all the staff and left us the bar an restaurant with hardly any service. Roof top bar has a wide selection but bad drinks , beach area is over crowded They nickel and dime you for everything starting with the on-site parking

    The entire weekend was simply beautiful. Every area of our visit, from checking in to departing was handled professionally and everyone was friendly!!! Looking forward to another stay at Hotel Effie.

    Nice rooftop pool, private beach was overcrowded, very poor customer service.
    Heated rooftop pool was nice, could enjoy when it was a little chilly.
    Housekeeping was very poor, didn't show up two days in a row when requested. Took my EV down just to learn the chargers in the garage weren't working, that created real problems. When I asked if there was a spot with an electrical outlet I could plug my home charger into, I was told that wasn't an option. That was beyond belief to me.

    Upscale Home Away from Home
    The aroma in the hallways, the upscale quality, the proximity to the beach and eateries in the Bayside village, and most importantly the warm cookies everyday at 5!
    The inconsistent shuttle to the beach and the Kate start of the shuttle forced us from Effie to arrive when the best beach spots were taken.
