    Secluded location tophill in middle of jungle (7min with tuk tuk from beach) clean room&bathroom Nice pool area Manager organised airport pick up & early check in 9am Welcome drink For breakfast eggs prepared to your liking
    Not so quiet after all, during our second night we were woke at 4am by very load trance EDM music party to our surprise as we were the only guests, it was party was near the pool area with bunch of people, we complained several times to manager calls&texts, however music didnt stop and was not turned lower volume , and manager admitted that it was he who is putting the music. At 9am we could not tolerate it anymore and left for another hotel, still expecting full refund from the hotel.. During all our travels this is first case, especially we were with 3yo child and sleep is crucial

    Breakfast was superb and that was more than expectation. Pool location is good and if you need a bar there is a pool bar as well. If you want read books and stay calm after a heavy day in the sea with sun burn, this is the ideal place to rest.

    Spent a wonderful two days with a relaxed mind. Thank you Garcenia staff for everything
    Hotel Garcinia was an excellent piece of tranquility in a green environment. Manager Frank is a very friendly person who quickly responds and tries his best to fulfill all our needs. The bed was nicely decorated with rose flowers, and the room was clean and spacious. The food was delicious, but the available variations were limited within our package.
    some leakage happened from ceiling during heavy rain.

    Very far out, up a long dark path no cars can fit so very hard to find if you do not know where you are going. No food available.

    Lovely guy running this place, the food was so good make sure you eat chicken curry there at least one of your evenings!! bit out of the way but we liked that because Hikkaduwa wasnt so much our scene, just rented a scooter easily. We were upgraded to the family room which was huge, did seem to get a lot of mosquitos in but was soon remedied with a mosquito net! Nice pool and in a quiet area to chill.

    Great hideaway with nature
    The place is ideal for hideaway breaks. Beautiful architecture is located in the middle of the cinnamon garden. The manager Frank was so friendly and very accommodating.
    Far away from the beach but again, this place is not promoting the beach but the stay within. So I can really say I didn't like this fact but just sharing for others, if you are looking for a break where you wanna real, this is the place.

    I recently stayed with my family and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The place had a great atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool, which we all loved. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were impressive as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
