I would stay here again, when I come back to Amsterdam.

The location was very central. Less than 5 mins walk from Amsterdam central station. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly! The hotel also had elevator which was very helpful considering its in the middle of Amsterdam. They also had umbrella's you can borrow, although we learned this later on after buying our own. They also had a mini breakfast nook. Just be early - like on our second day, we didn't have any bread or croissant left but there is always coffee and tea available 24/7.

There were some stains inside the room, looks like beer stains in the wall that was splashed and dried. The bed side socket as well, gave me a shock.. I already told the staff about it when we left (seems like the previous guest put something in it and was left there.)

Great location and staff, rooms a bit rundown but comfortable

Amazing location and such friendly helpful staff. There is a 24 hour reception and they keep the door locked at all times except for guests. Also a nice tea/coffee/snack station for guests to help themselves too.

Although the staff were nice unfortunately the hotel is a little rundown. I had an issue with my first room which the staff resolved immediately by moving me but I probably would book somewhere a bit newer next time. It was hard to tell this place was needing a bit of love from the photos but it could do with a heavy mould treatment in the bathroom and less stained carpets etc.

They win your heart before you walk in the room. They go beyond whenever possible.

The welcoming and customer-centric reception team make this place exceptional and truly rated above 10 of 10, which will offset any observation related to the age of the furniture or the carpet. The location being close to the Train Central Station (Amsterdam Centraal) is a great plus and quite accessible. This is the 2nd biggest advantage of this Hotel (next to the staff) The room size is reasonable as the majority will surely enjoy their time out in the citys numerous attractions. Another plus is the free water, coffee and tea, with some light bites, in the rest area right behind the lobby.

The best part of the room was that its centrally located in the old historical center, close to the main train station, and walking distance to some of the best shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was clean however the carpet needed to be replaced. Not only were there stains, but bleached areas that appeared to be there for a while. The room was very small with the worse lighting in the bathroom. There was an overhead light, however nothing above or around the mirror. Kind of made it difficult to put makeup on in the morning, and it could use a counter or something to put toiletries on rather than a small shelf above the sink.

Convinient and pleasant.

Really friendly staff, 24hr reception, super central location so easy to walk wherever and close to main station. Nice rooms and comes with everything you need for a short stay. TVs in rooms that even have some English channels and a lift so you dont have to walk steep stairs. Overall definitely recommend staying here for a city break. Can also store your luggage in reception easily if you have an early arrival.

Only two small pillows on the bed, larger or more pillows would have been more comfortable but still slept well every night nonetheless. Rooms werent that spacious but just for a short trip this wasnt an issue, especially if you plan to be out most of the day.
