Not as expected - disappointing
The restaurant dinner was really poor. They didnt have the wine we wanted from the wine list. The two meal options we ordered, we were informed were dry and they wouldnt recommend either. The pasta that I then ordered didnt have the ingredients that were specified on the menu.
The breakfast was not buffet style as expected. We were just asked what style of eggs we wanted and we were given a selection of pastries, breads, hams and cheeses. Would have preferred buffet style as usual.

Fabulous hotel, staff and location
Very comfortable rooms and large luxurious bathroom. The outdoor patio, pool, and bar area were large and inviting. Most people gathered there, but there is a large indoor lounge/bar. The Staff was exceptional and helped with taxi reservations and luggage hold.

We got a different room than the one we bookedz. Breakfast with room service was nice but complicated to order without any menu through the phone.
Staff on arrival was very bothered by us, older guy with a sour face on the reception barely said hi. This was our wedding night so he killed our mood very fast. We emailed several times prior to our stay asking for a later check out (since we came from our wedding), we got no reply. We asked again on arrival and the reception irritaded said we need to call when we wake up. In the morning we called and got a plain no. Just not a good location for a wedding night. We paid 340 for one night and had higher expectations, atleast an ok attitude. Cleaning staff was also rude unfortunately.

Beautiful hotel and great staff but I would not stay here again.
The location was in a residential area and easily walkable to harbor everyday in 15 minutes. The staff was outstanding!
My room had a chair on the lower level but you could not watch TV as the TV was located upstairs in the bedroom. There was a small sitting area upstairs with a desk, but unable to watch TV. It was an inconvenient setup. The bathroom downstairs was large, but you had to step into the high bathtub for the shower and there were no safe bars to hang onto. Breakfast was cold both days and you had to ask for coffee after you sat down with your breakfast from the buffet table and were just about finished. It's a shame that breakfast was cold because the food looked delicious. I had breakfast both days in the middle of the breakfast time.

Great hotel in a fantastic location!
The location was perfect, the rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated and extremely clean. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast weve ever had at a hotel!

Expensive, half open and not up to 5* care.
The rooms were modern and very clean - and the location was good.
The hotel had closed the spa for refurb 2 weeks prior and whilst quietly posting it on their website did not contact per booked guests on the topic (albeit they sent many other generic emails!) this was a big problem as I needed the gym and sauna for physio.
The breakfast staff essentially ignored us after telling us to pick a seat - never came back for an order of the menu even though there were only 2 tables occupied and 5 of them. The smoking area smell permeates the bar and non smoking areas and there was a general sense that all but the front of house manager the team were simply waiting for you to leave.
