    Great.
    The staff is very kind and helpful. Location perfect near metro, bus stop, near Gion, near the river Room with a window, quiet.
    The breakfast: The same buffet everyday. Average. No cheese, no boiled eggs, no cakes, no brown bread . Only ananas and pineapple as fruits.

    It was ok, but not sure if going back
    The room was OK for the price and had a good size. Also, it was close to train station and in a good area for tourists. Quiet area in general. Convenience store nearby.
    There was a sign on the elevator that there is a construction happening on the building next door. I would've appreciate to be aware of this from beforehand. The room was clean, but the fan extractor on top of the shower was filthy. There was a lot of rooms per floor, so there was a lot of movement on the hallways.

    Exceptional Experience in Kyoto
    The hotel is brand new!!! Or at least it looked like it. The Onsen is a value add, wonderful to wind down a long day of touristing in Kyoto. Close to subway stations and bus stations and walking distance from the Kyoto Imperial Palace. The rooms are clean, small but comfortable. Not a huge fan of the red in the rooms but thats my personal style opinion. The bathrooms are brand new, and the amenities of the hotel are exceptional. The staff is really helpful, they provided nice little details umbrellas, water, band aids, and powders for the tub for nice sleep and relaxation. We also got a free Soba for New Years. I recommend getting the breakfast the Blue Books Cafe is gorgeous and the food really good mix of western + Japanese cuisine. Will come back!!! The neighborhood is extremely elegant.

    Very beautiful hotel with comfy beds (would go again)
    Very beautiful rooms, with comfy beds (softer than most, which was a nice relief for my back) and great styling. Airco worked well, we had a tub, there was a little fridge and we got free water bottles every day when there was no room cleaning. I even got face care for everyday of the stay upon checking in. The onsen was nice and you can check online whether it is vacant or crowded (small tattoo covered up). The staff was friendly and we ate at the restaurant - burgers and nachos, which was nice enough. We loved the overall look and vibe of this hotel and I slept great here. You could even take some free things like bath powder and toot brushes and such. A cute touch was how the cleaning staff put back my pluche at the pillow after cleaning the bed. Cute and respectful!

    It could have been a tad cleaner (had some hairs on the floor that did not belong to either of us). But it felt clean enough (seen waaay worse).

    The hotel room was reasonable size and very comfortable. The onset was a highlight .. It was my 1st time so dont have anything to compare to but was a good experience to wind down after a day of sightseeing.
