    Greeting from concierge , parking car and taking luggage to room - excellent Greeting from Receptionist View from Bedroom Evening meal good value
    Despite Receptionist checking our names, this didnt get filtered to restaurant staff Restaurant staff didnt meet the standard expected of 2 rosette . Order taken in bar area, escorted through and then asked at the table to re-order. Constant - your welcome reaching across the table to pour water resulting in guest being splashed . Cheddar cheese on the cheese board passed its sell by Wrongly charged for a glass of wine - felt uncomfortable need a better system of recording what guests order. Breakfast choice of continental pastrys disappointing and given only 1 item. Not offered more tea, coffee or toast

    Nice hotel - slightly marred
    The property itself was very good and very clean
    Everything was ok and the staff were very attentive which was a positive- we did have an issue which was initially our fault, but we had inadvertently left our wash bag in the bathroom when we left the hotel - they kindly sent it back to us, however, two new items of brand new Ritual face and body creams which were absolutely in the bag were missing (at 45 each this left a bit of a sour taste ) like we said it was our fault but when the hotel sent our items back we did expect to get the full compliment of contents back. Bit naughty!!!

    Superb: couldnt have been better
    Outstanding friendly alert and efficient staff. Excellent food dinner and breakfast. Superb room equipped with every need. Even found the tea and coffee supplies refreshed when we were just down having dinner. Wonderful position right on the seafront. Good for coast path walking
    Only that we should have stayed longer! Well return.

    A small suggestion would be to have a tasting menu for dinner otherwise the food was perfect. The star of the stay was Antony he was utterly amazing.
