Reception Staff, in particular Julio, have amazing personalities. Nothing is too much trouble for the front of house team. Lorena,Wizzam. All on Reception Fantastic credit to the hotel. The bar staff were reserved but polite. One in particular originally from Miami is very pleasant, and all the bar staff work very hard as do the breakfast team.
The half board option was to posh for our liking and overpriced for what you got

We had sea view room and the view was great
It was not clean. The quality of food was not good. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was the worst food I had. Also the breakfast buffet was very poor compared to any other resorts.
And they charge you for everything basically, the water is 3 times more expensive, the room service for food costs extra, for the late check out even they charge you.

Gorgeous location
Our room was surrounded by workmen undertaking improvements to other vacant rooms, there was an overwhelming smell of sealant in our room, and general building work noise in the morning.

Wonderful location (very close to the old centre and sea) plus amazing views. Very kind, helpful and always cheerful Staff - thank you very much for making our stay really very good .
A good size room with a beautiful balony around. Magnificent views and fabulous sunrise! Very clean area, delicious breakfast - a big choice, everybody can find something
One garage in the building (20 Euros) and opposite (16 Euros per 24 h)
Very close to the beach and the 'voice of the calm sea' heard in the room'. Evenings/night on the balony with splendid lights in the port and over the bay. Stars, sea, ligths and breathtaking views. We highly recommend this extraordinary place

Spa Area a bit too crowdy - entrance by booking, however for too many people, too noisy inside. Hard to relax in this 'Active Spa Area' but there are a lot different amenities to use and experience. Missing inside swimming pool.

The room I stayed was not updated as the other rooms were and there was bad sound insulation (could hear cars passing by the hotel).

Swanky, not beachfront as advertised though
Not actually a beachfront hotel so due to my disabilities I was unable to really e joy the beach. It was more Portslade than beachfront.
