    Hotel St-Denis is a beautifully upgraded but still Old Montreal true experience!
    Although the immediate area around the hotel wasn't very exciting (a lot of places were closed and a lot of homelessness in the immediate area), just a couple blocks away there were some amazing restaurants/bars, and also the metro was only a block and a half away which connected to 3 of the 4 lines. I recommend buying a pass for the metro. You can get anywhere easily and quickly.
    There's no breakfast in the immediate area but that was fine. The rooms were cute but SO hot!!! We turned off the heat, had a window open and it was still very hot!!! I don't think there's AC so I couldn't imagine it in the summer!

    Extraordinary staff, great value for money
    Staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful. That alone is worth everything. There is no parking, but public parking is about a 10 minute walk away. Close to main shopping areas.

    Overall we liked the location if the hotel and what it offered as we did not spend much time in it. Would recommend for
    Great location and decent room with coffee machine/safe/mini fridge/tv/iron board. 5 min walk from subway station and from st denis street restaurants.
    We asked for room service but they had only changed the bed sheets and toilet bin- our used mugs were still left from the day before and no coffee pod refill.
