I liked that it was Downtown close to everything.
The hotel had a weird smell. It was carpeted making it had to roll your suitcases through. The whole hotel was very rundown and old. I asked for a cord to the speaker and they didn't bring it up to our room until the next day. There was tissue paper stuffed into the vent in the bathroom. The rooftop bar, they charge you $15 for one drink. It wasn't even worth it to go up to the bar.

Great location downtown, just a half mile walk to Beale Street.
No hot water in the shower, had to take a bath every day. Sink would not drain and entire floor reeked of weed.

Nice place, good location, but skip the breakfasts option.
Room was grate, location verry good, close enough for everything to be within walking distance but far enough to be quiet at night.
Breakfasts was very poor, at 9 o'clock few guests at the breakfast area, most of the treys empty, had to share cutlery though out breakfast, even after asking for more and coffee took 20 min

Funky deco style in great central location
The location was excellent, easy walking distance to plenty of local sights and restaurants. Staff were friendly and professional. The room was quiet and had a very comfortable bed. It was a fairly tight space (as we always expect in central city locations), but thoughtfully laid out and beautifully decorated.
Unfortunately our toilet chain broke on the first day, and despite reporting it to staff immediately, it wasn't fixed for the duration of our stay (2 nights). This was really disappointing as a flushing/ working toilet is a pretty key part of a comfortable stay.

Brilliant stay for walking in Memphis
I absolutely loved this hotel, it was a super central location for visiting Memphis. The staff were lovely, the only thing I might have noticed that they were maybe a little understaffed! The breakfast was simple but very tasty. The bed was extremely comfy.
The only think I didnt like was the access to the parking lot across the street, but that is not a reflection of the hotel. Parking is at a premium in Memphis and the lot is close to the hotel and seemed secure.

Overall my stay was good And the staff was great.
I was in town to run the St Jude Marathon so the location was excellent. The fact that the hotel raises their prices so much is confounding. If they were more reasonable runners and families may stay the entire weekend to spend more money in the city instead of checking out after the race. I stayed 2 nights and had to spend $702 to do it.
Key card system was down so I didnt get a key when we got there. Staff had to take us to our room. Also couldnt get the TV to work no Netflix.
