Guests returning for a third visit raved about the fabulous food, elegant surroundings, and first-class service at Hunters Moon Hotel. The changing three-course dinner menu and impressive breakfast w (Read More)ere highlights. The hotel is dog-friendly with some restrictions. Room 14 was excellent, with French doors to a patio and good Wi-Fi. Although the bathroom was small, the room was nicely decorated with good amenities. The traditional ambiance appealed to older guests.

Superb

Very pleasant ambience in the hotel. The staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

Dinner superb. Great value. Comfortable, quiet room complimented with an outside terrace. Spacious bathroom.

Very good

Our short break was much improved by the friendly staff and efficient service at the Hunters Moon.

The staff were friendly and efficient and did all they could to help. The dining room was well run and the charming waitresses were a very good team providing excellent service.

Exceptional

Highly recommended and I will be back.

Breakfast was included and exceptional. Dinner was an excellent set menu choice and great value. The wine list is good and not over priced. I stayed twice in one week in two different rooms. Both were very comfortable and quiet with very good in-room facilities and newly renovated bathrooms.

Nothing. My only comment is that I had an early morning departure on my second stay and had asked for a light breakfast, croissants and coffee, for 7am as breakfast started at 0830, but this was not prepared. It is a minor detail but it would be nice to have a continental type breakfast from 0730 available until the kitchen opens.

Very comfortable and I will definitely return

Lovely friendly staff, clean room and staff quick to respond and follow up on anything I mentioned. I enjoyed the food, not your average grub, much better and a wide range of choice.

Do clean the ceiling light out if dead insects!

Very good

We had a quiet, relaxed time, which is what we wanted.

Quiet and lots of space with friendly staff. Very clean. Wonderful location with easy walking distance to town and sea front. Comfortable lounge for relaxing reading.

Dining area was lacking in atmosphere. It was clean and the staff were attentive and friendly. Perhaps it was the time of year, but it needed something to give it a lift.
