The location of the Iconic was fantastic. Close to restaurants, cafes and surf clubs. It is right across the road to a patrolled beach.

The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen.
Great walks along Kirra seafront to Snapper Rocks.
Eating at the many surf lifesaving clubs was a great option.

Book a 2-bedroomed apartment if you want a good night's sleep.
When booking this via Booking.com we were not notified of the major building works that were taking place in the very immediate vicinity.
This booking was for 3 weeks!
Our panoramic one-bed apartment over looked 3 major building sites. When sitting on the balcony the noise, which started at 7am, was unbelievable; particularly when dismantling the scaffold of at least 15 floors. Booking.com - I have a video recording of the din.
The photos on Booking.com and the hotel's website had not been updated and the view was not as shown. (This is our 4th visit to Coolangatta and we thought we knew what we would be getting).
Our one bedroom apartment, was originally a two bedroomed apartment that had been modified into 2 x one bedroomed apartments. However, there was no soundproofing put in place and we could hear our neighbours at bedtime!!
We had a chat with the extremely helpful receptionist, Susan, who kindly moved us into a better soundproofed apartment on the other side of the building.
Our holiday was saved once we were moved to a 2-bedroomed apartment which we couldn't fault and would rate 10/10.

I booked a 2 bedroom appartment for the view and was not dissapointed , bed very comphy , coofee machine good and I like that I could wash my clothes
old carpet , small parking spaces I drive a toyota fortuna which was Ok but a huge car parked beside me , also had to ask for extra milk as was only offerd 1 milk which made 1 coffe for a 3 night stay
