The staff were friendly and tried their best to help us out.
The room smelt of marijuana, did not appear to have been vacuumed and had sticky floors. We also could not lock the balcony door which was concerning with young children.

Walking distance to several attractions and free public transport.
Check in and out process was very quick and easy.
When the elevator doors opened we were punched in the face by the smell of cigarettes. My feet hung over the end of the queen bed which I believe was a double. The room was so small you could not close the bedroom door as the bed was in the way. The shower head was not fixed in place so when you turned the water on the tap flew up and sprayed water at the ceiling.
The tiny couch barely big enough for 2 people to sit on was also broken and felt like it was going to collapse.
The microwave was so close to the stove top that you couldnt open the door fully. The noise from the freeway was so loud you couldnt leave the door to the balcony open. The cleaner came and rearranged things in the room without doing any actual cleaning, not even the toilet.

The heated pool was not warm and could not swim during our stay.

the close proximity to trams
it was filthy the sofa had stain of who knows what on it, the corridors stunk, couldnt use the aircon as it smelt as though something died in there, mould in the shower, no frypan for cooking, over priced and half of vic police force turned I on our last night to remove guests

Location was nice, bed was super comfy. Great water pressure in the shower.
Kitchen utensils were pretty basic (eg 1 pot, 1 pan); pool was tiny compared to the pictures (the one time I went to look, there was a family of 5 in it; I didnt feel like there was space for me); the floor I stayed on 25 always kind of smelled like smokeone time I peeked into the balcony next to me and there were heaps of cigarette butts. Meant to mention this to reception but didnt get around to it.

Air conditioning had a terrible squeaky noise that was too annoying to leave on.
