It was a safe, comfortable & seamless stay!

I am so grateful for Indie Stays in Mumbai for being the safe place it is. After a horrendous experience at a different property, I booked a bed in this hostel and it was the best decision ever. It is located in an accessible location and very safe even if youre out at 2AM especially for women. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and you really cant go wrong with this place. Even met some nice roomies during my stay!

I think there arent as many meal options plus overpriced compared to the nearby market, which forces a traveller to order from Swiggy / Zomato. Also, I noticed how the staff never issues you a locker unless asked for which seems odd as most people need lockers but arent even aware that the stay offers it.

Amazing staff

The staff were absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful! My husband wasn't feeling well when we arrived and they gave us some medicine so we wouldn't have to go out late at night to find a chemist. The next day after we had checked out, they allowed my husband to rest in one of the dormitories free of charge as we waited for our late-night flight. The staff were there to help us with our every need and we were very grateful for their hospitality.

Good place to stay for visa biometrics and interview at US Consulate General.

We had a large corner room (expensive) so the hotel provided reasonably good breakfast. The location was good if you are there for US Consulate visa related work. Not a suitable hotel for tourists as attractions are very far. The front desk staff is excellent and courteous ready to help. Transport is easily available but taxi just outside tend to fleece so better to get Uber or auto. There is a good vegetarian restaurant close to hotel.

WiFi was practically not available despite repeated request the hotel failed to do anything about it. The housekeeping was not responsive and they had to be reminded for request for cleaning or providing water.

Very well maintained and fresh place . Generally good other than safe problem which was thankfully finally resolved .

An Oasis in a fairly scruffy area We needed to be in this location so were pleased to have found Indie Stays . Clean, good size room with big window so light good. Fairly quiet even though near a busy road. Reception answers phone promptly. Room service good though could have been better with less chillies.

Our room safe did not open . Battery needed changing. Took over 24 hours to resolve after many calls. Handover between staff of the problem that had not been resolved was poor. Finally a young lady at reception ( apologies I cant recall her name) came to the room with a man with a key after the battery had been changed to ensure we could get out stuff. Fortunately we had a spare day If not we would have been in dire trouble as the safe had our passports.
