It was a good welcome and the stay had good staff to support us all along.
I remember it being very good ambience at the centre. With water all around and fishes in it. Right now the water looks so bad and contaminated. I don't know how ppl stay there with this kind of situation going on. I shared the photos as well. We had a just born baby in the family. I had to be very cautious in taking our baby out of the room.

We had dinner at all three restaurants, food quality and taste was very good. especially the breakfast spread was very good and variety of salads and breads.

The food was good & spa looked great, although I missed using it.
This is more a hotel, than a resort. It has very few activities & the service is slow. A bit basic for a 5 star property.

What we needed the most!
Perfect breakfast! Lots of variety. Great taste! Especially liked the amritsari kulche and chole, breads, cakes, idiyappam etc. lovely! We met Ms Bindiya at the reception and she was a delight. She ordered a yummy cake just for our kids and also had a lovely chat with them, keeping them thoroughly entertained.

Warm welcome, friendly staff and nice room. Food was fine, judging by the evening buffet and breakfast.
Alcohol selection, for a five star hotel - was quite poor. The only beer available was 8%, which definitely wouldnt suit a lot of people.
Ordered two glasses of wine via in-room dining (as there was no white wine available from the beach bar?) - own fault for not checking the price on ordering, but paid 2.800Rs (approx 28) for two small glasses of wine (circa 300ml).
The 375ml half bottle measures from the mini bar menu (priced at 650Rs, from memory) were not available.
People who enjoy a drink as part of their holiday, may find these issues impact on their break.

Great food at this hotel ! I will stay here again.
The rooms are very clean and the beds the most comfortable I have found in India.
The staff are very helpful especially Mr Paul the concierge. He went out of his way to help me arrange a trip and was a good source of information.
The sand on the beach has been washed back quite a way by rough seas.
