This is an expensive hotel and I'm not sure it was worth it.
Good location and lovely looking restaurant and bar. The room was very comfortable
Breakfast was very unappealing - the bacon barely cooked and the sausages just looked horrendous. In the lovely bar with expensive prices no crisps or nuts available - even if you paid for them. Trying to get from the room to reception was confusing as the hotel seems to be in 2 buildings. Could do with better signage.

Excellent hotel! We stayed there during the Christmas week and had a wonderful time. We got the real 5 star hotel experience: friendly and helpful staff, great facilities, spotless, nice breakfast, walking distance to every tourist attraction.

We really enjoyed our stay short as it was and look forward to another sometime soon.
Location was excellent. View from room was fantastic.
Breakfast was good but I would have expected there to be table service as well as the buffet option in hotel of this standard.
As previously mentioned the fact that breakfast was buffet style only in the restaurant.

Let down by poor breakfast. Not new been like this for couple of previous visits. Couple at next table were overseas visitors. Bit embarrassing when they think this is typical Scottish breakfast. Black pudding and potato scones hard and dry. No mention of eggs to order unless you ask
