Beautiful surroundings
Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh by Joan. A good selection of items on the menu. The large room was furnished beautifully and very clean with a huge bed. Everything you could want was in the room. The heating worked very well and the room was warm and cosy. The road outside was busy but the windows were double glazed so this was quiet.
The ensuite was small and cramped, but you might expect this in a 12th century building!

A real treat.
Excellent location for sightseeing and shops. The decor in the property is beautiful.
Slightly small en suite but considering the property dates back to the 12th century that is hardly surprising.

A welcoming place to stay.
The property was warm. Our room was nice and quiet. Lovely decorated. Clever use of space for en-suite.
Good location, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and Abbey and Museums. Had a car park.
Nothing - everything was great.

We had a really nice overnight stay, it was relaxing in such a lovely big room and finished off with a wonderful breakfa
It was full of character and was everything we hoped it would be!
There was nothing to dislikebut one suggestion would be to add curtains to the rails on the 4 poster bed.
