    Pathetic behaviour, rude attitude, would never recommend

    Despite prior booking and multiple prior phone calls, the property didn't allow us to stay since me and my were unmarried. I am a local and my friend was a guest from a different country and I wanted to get him to have a feel of Assamese culture but couldn't. If the staff would have informed us before then we wouldn't have gone this far from the city. Over and above this, their reception and attitude was really pathetic treating us both 35 year olds like teenage kids looking for a room to stay over! They didn't even offer us an alternative or speak properly, extremely rude and unbelievable at this age and time. They said that the policy is mentioned but no such policy is mentioned in booking.com. Very disappointing, wouldn't recommend anyone to even go there for food given such pathetic behaviour.
