    Bones are good. Nice staff does what it can but plumbing, wiring, systems need upgrade.
    Staff was mostly nice. Rooms large, grounds gorgergeous, location very good near Union Market.
    TV did not work, one phone did not work, and toilets easily overflow/jam, request for late checkout not recorded so issue at check out, etc..Psastry food stayed out for at least 2 overnights/ days (was there the night before) Watched a muffin behind glass immoveable, for sale, for awhile. Bakery items are refreshed less than daily.

    A lovely hotel set in the beautiful grounds of Gallaudet University campus. If required, all the staff can use sign language and are exceptional friendly. In particular, we must thank Paula, the deputy manager, for her hospitality. The hotel is a 2 mile flat walk through a nice residential area to Capitol Hill and the Smithsonian Museums, so perfect for a visit to see Washington.

    It was very clean & quiet. The woman at the front desk. I believe her name was Miriam, was super nice & helpful. Since my friends & I were from out of town she let us know a few places to go see & where to eat.
    The photos on the walls were a little creepy.

    The staff is really nice. I love how accessible it is for the Deaf community and it certainly can be an experience for hearing people. It is very clean and functional. The bed is very comfortable.
