Disappointing

Basic service missing: disappointing stay

Infrastructure, big room and nice pool Friendly staff, unfortunately not balancing the cons because not helpful

Basic needs missing: - 2 towels for 3 people. No hand towel - Difficulty to get a pool towel. They ran out of towels during the day. The only time I got a pool towel it was dirty and smelled like dust and humidity. - I paid an extra 200k/night to have a dirty baby bed. - Significant water leak in the bathroom sink, I had to clean my hands in the bathtub during the stay. Silverware: - There was one spoon for 2 coffee cups for the entire stay - No fork and spoon for breakfast, we systematically had to ask with a staff not understanding why we wanted to cut a fruit or use a spoon to eat a yogurt (???) - Poor car service: when we asked the staff to get a car for the day / for a trip, we had higher price and no baby seat. We could find better price and baby seat by ourselves without intensively looking in Ubud. Im all about reserving in locally owned hotels to make sure the economy is running in the country and not in a big corporation. I now am rethinking this strategy to more international owned resorts because of this stay.
