Would stay again, despite New Years no hassles!

Great location! Staff managed to place me and my friends in a dorm together despite being over new years.

Bathrooms need more regular upkeep and they are extremely claustrophobic!

Rooms were decent size and the location is amazing! The staff are nice too. I'd stay again.

Bunks could have more privacy and the bathrooms are very claustrophobic and not very well maintained.

A great budget accommodation for a trip to Edinburgh. Highly recommend for couples.

Location was perfect. Checkin was very easy. The property is very quirky and fun. The bed was very comfy.

I thought the room was a bit far from the shower but there is not much to complain about being honest.

The room is very spacious and comfortable. The place is in a good location and you almost do not need transport to the most important places.

The kick ass that I was has no kitchen, so you have to walk to the other one if you need it. The annouce I saw made me expect easy access to the kitchen. Another detail was that the bathroom was really cold.

It did its job.

If hostels are for you - go for it because the bed was comfy, the staff was lovely, the facilities was ok and the location was brilliant. If youve never been in an hostel before and you want to try it because its cheaper than please avoid and pay that little bit more that includes your own space. If you are inconsiderate and dont mind noise then share a bedroom with people, Im sure youll have no issue but if you are polite and considerate then an hotel is more your go to. I couldnt cope with other peoples mess and snoring. People coming in and out at crack of dawn and slamming doors! They provide you with a lock and key which are 4 and towels are 3 to rent so you could rent a towel for the duration of your stay, or just bring your own. The showers were temperamental and very small, if youre a larger person you wont fit in it or you may struggle. Other areas was clean, the bar and lounge area was nice. I dont think its worth its money though.

Horrible stay! I dont recommend it at all!

The only good thing it is the location! Just it! The bed was ok!

I had a terrible stay! Nothing was good to be honest. First of all I did not see the information that they do not offer towel. When I went to the reception to rent one that I had this information in the night before they simple told me that they did not have any towel to rent. The excuse was that they were full booked. How could it happened? They knew that they will be full booked and do not prepared for it? All the bathrooms were dirty. They have mix bathrooms with shower that it is not comfortable for any women. Just one small bathroom was female and all the time was disgusting. The room need to be improved as well. I stayed in a female room for 4 people. All the time the light of the hallway was on so when somebody opened the door the strong light was in your face. The good idea it was if they put curtains on which bed. Everyone could feel much more comfortable. The Wi-Fi does not work well. In the second day did not work at all.

Your hostel is very good and clean I came back from France on the 27th and thank you for your excellent provision for me . The hostel is very well set up with areas for eating your fish supper and the bar was a surprise as I have a vintage T2 camper the same as your bar. Thank you again. Ps I will be back
