Superb

Great location, wonderful staff and excellent value for money

The hotel is in a great location just 2 blocks from the beach and close to many bars and restaurants. They offer complimentary tea and coffee until 10am and have free wine from 4-5pm daily. The rooms are a a very good size, the heated rooftop pool is a decent size to swim and the bar has a really nice garden to relax in with a drink. Beach towels and a beach bag are provided. The mini bar is well stocked and they have good quality toiletries. The staff are excellent. On hearing it was my birthday, they upgraded our room and gave me a gift bag of lovely treats. They are friendly and very service oriented. The free Miami trolley stops 10 meters away. Good value for money in South Beach.

Overpriced, rooms where big, well equipped but dirty, very good location

1. The Location is great (near to the beach and many restaurants or hop on buses) 2. The room size is great 3. The bed size was good 4. Nice bar and entrance (New building / The old one is not as nice...)

1. Unfortunately the room was in the "old" part of the Hotel which is not as nice a the newer building where the reception is 2. The room was partially very dirty (there was a thick layer of dust besides our tables) 3. Room service was not coming daily... to clean up 4. The Washroom was functional but quite old - not what you would expect in a 4star Hotel at this price level 5. The staff at the reception was friendly and nice but wasnt helping with the luggage, when we went to the room. We even needed to ask them to open the door for us - while carrying many bags.

Staff was friendly! Bed was comfortable and it wasnt noisy

This is not a 5 star hotel, even though booking claims it to be, it is not! There is complimentary water, coffee and tea at the hotel restaurant because they do not provide it in the room (not even water). We got the room without a balcony, it was spacious and the bed was super comfortable but cannot say that it was super clean.

It was okay. I've had better stays last year. I stayed once in September and in December.

It was my husband's birthday and the hotel gifted us a bottle of Champagne, some crackers and tapenade and an art book. That was very nice and we appreciated the thoughtfulness. We stayed on the suite side this time. We always enjoy the location and access to the beach. We liked the art basel events next door and the tastings from the cocktail company. We liked our balcony and our late checkout. Texting with the front desk was efficient.

Our room was cold. Our room layout was weird. This was our first time staying on the suite side. We didn't understand the point of the water bottles if we couldn't take them. We would have loved better access to ice. The front desk agent said we would have to bring the bucket to the front desk. The next night the front desk agent said they would bring us the ice. The design of the suite was awkward. One day for lunch we grabbed lunch from somewhere across the street and decided to eat by the pool but outside of the hotels restaurant. We were informed we had to move even though literally no one was eating there. Another front desk person informed us that there were chairs on the beach however when we went to the beach we were told that Kimpton doesn't have chairs or a contract for them with the company. So we had to pay for chairs.
