    Great place for a seaside short break.
    Great seafront location, large car park, nicely furnished throughout. Friendly staff.
    Had run out of zero alcohol lager so made do with a cola.

    Very pleasant for what we needed .
    Friendly and helpful room good size , breakfast very nice
    Going through a busy bar to get to our room, shower very noisy , not enough selection of teas in the room , no plugs by the bed and my husband has sleep apnea so needs a machine , pillows very uncomfortable

    Nicest hotel in Clacton.
    Kingscliff is always our go to when in Clacton, its the nicest hotel in the area. The staff our also so accommodating!
    First time in 5 years we have a room on the ground floor, didnt like that too much as we were facing the carpark, which isnt a problem but the loud banging of glasses at 5.44am was a little disturbing. But will mention would prefer a room upstairs next time.

    The full English breakfast was exceptional. The location overlooking the sea was a bonus and easy to find with free car parking.
    Could only get BBC 1 and 2 on the television. All other programmes were interrupted by a bad signal. Great

    We have just returned from a very enjoyable 3 night break. The staff from the receptionist, restaurant, night porter were all very friendly and welcoming. It is so nice to be welcomed by the receptionist who got our break off to a good start. The hotel itself was very clean and well decorated given it a real and relaxed Christmas atmosphere. Finally i must mention the quality of the breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed in the restaurant with a sea view. We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and we plan to come back next year. Thank You. Martin & Lin Gordon.

    Lovely room overlooking the sea. Lounge/bar area comfortable and welcoming.
    Room was above the bar so a little noisy.
