Booked this late summer 2023 knowing we would be travelling down the Vietnam coast by train over the Christmas period. Although a little off the Reunification Railway path, this quieter resort seemed more preferable to Da Nang or Nha Trang. This laid back boho retreat didn't disappoint. A third floor seaview balcony greeted us. Simple breakfasts were added free of charge upon our check in, probably because of my Booking.com Genius rating. (Try the banana pancakes !) Beds were comfortable. A combo of oscillating fan and / or AC could be used to chill the rooms. The shower cubicle was the largest we've encountered in a month. All the usual toiletries are provided. The mini safe & laundry service very welcome. Several English language movie and news channels came free along with the occassional Premier League game. The pool was small and sheltered with foliage which suited us. Around the pool we saw, a frog, a lizzard, birds, butterflies etc.* In four weeks, this has been one of the few hotels where we couldn't hear the stealthy cleaning ladies. (They mostly shout along corridors elsewhere.) Here, we often found them standing quietly, ninja like, when we emerged for breakfast. As mentioned in other reviews, those suffering from noodle pho-tigue have a really good food court along the lane. (Roast Dinners / Burgers / Kebabs / Curries etc) along with a well stocked bar for craft beers and decent international wines. (Avoid Vietnamese Wine !!) The beachside promenade lead to several sunset type beach bars, many of which were frequented, (during Christmas week at least,) by ex-pats.
