Aside from not knowing they were renovating it just looked like two different hotels at one location. One side was the suburbs and the other the dumps. I was placed on the dump side which smelled bad, floors looked like they were thrown back up and melted into the floor, paint peeling and the elevator looked haunted. Occupants were leaving food and trash in the hallways and it smelled BAD!! Now once in the room it smelled and looked a little more presentable but the AC didnt work. So the employee did accommodate but once moved the TV didnt work. So now you would kind of be annoyed but again the employee did accommodate again and finally we were in a room that we could work with. Now my frustration really didnt set in until I visited the adjacent side of the hotel which I learned was the renovated side and I now want to know what were the requirements to book those rooms because they looked like what they were selling on the website. Breakfast was served on time and although Im not a breakfast fan it was clean, presentable and fresh. The kitchen staff were nice and they kept everything stocked. Only thing I would change is the runny, watery eggs but the biscuits and gravy were on point!! Overall we made the room work but I dont think I would visit again even after the renovations are finished
