    A haven of peace in beautiful surroundings.
    The Bar and breakfast
    We were in Laurel room and we kept getting lost on our journey to and from the room. Basically, the signage is bad. Far more signs are required to Reception and to particular rooms. Also, I'm elderly with strength and balance problems. The shower room was well designed except that there are no handrails to hold on to and there is one minute soap container which can only hold one bottle. There should be at least two containers. Form must always be married to function!

    The stay was fine but we wouldnt return of recommend unfortunately.
    Country House in plenty of grounds. Warm. Clean and comfortable.
    No pool or spa. Expensive. Breakfast not included.

    The staff here are magnificent, really accommodating and just generally polite. The surroundings are incredible and the house its self is picturesque. Highly recommend the Plough Inn down the road which had lovely food and settings. Then recommend the cocktail bar as well

    Beautiful location, building & room!
    We loved the location of the property, its in the beautiful countryside with a long drive up to the house which makes it feel very luxurious. Even the car park was pretty. We walked from the car park to the house to take it all in and the house looked spectacular (even in all of the rain), especially with the lights being around the trees. We stayed in the room Acacia and it was incredible, a massive room, with a large bed, 2 chairs, a flat screen TV and more. The best part was the bathroom which has a jacuzzi bath with lights & TV, a huge shower with multiple shower heads, 2 sinks and the gorgeous floor that reflects onto the ceiling creating the most wonderful atmosphere.

    We had a slight problem with our booking on arrival and were put in the wrong room but the staff were fantastic and sorted it out for us instantly.

    Beautiful location, friendly & engaging staff and a lovely room.
    The Room itself was a lovely space and very warm. 4 Poster bed, the bathroom impressive. Breakfast was very nice. We ate in the Well House, happy with the service, they also showed us the Kitchen, and the staff explained the space and were very engaging. Impressed.
    It would have been nice to have, breakfast included in the price we paid.
