    Lindeth Fell Country House has recently been taken over by a new family, resulting in some changes. The setting is lovely with friendly staff, clean rooms, and spacious lounge areas. The restaurant m (Read More)enu may be restrictive for longer stays, but the food is well-presented and tasty. Guests had a wonderful time, praising the remarkable staff, beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and attentive service. It is recommended for a luxury stay with excellent hospitality.

    A great place to unwind and relax, a romantic location in which to get engaged...as we did!
    Team were exceptionally welcoming. Pleasant Ambience. Great Fires for the Winter Months. Outstanding Breakfast and accommodating. Cozy Room.
    Thought we had a Bath judging by layout of Pictures. Shower only. Overall this didn't affect the stay.

    Conveniently located with where I was going. What stood out was the friendliness of the staff and how the communication has been great from the moment I made an enquiry and was well-reflected throughout my stay. Well-equipped facilities, room was clean and bed was comfortable and overall temp control was good and food and drinks were great too, especially enjoyed the range of teas and coffees served in the room. Thoroughly enjoyed my NYE meal I booked with them! Good recommendations for things to do locally and everyone was more than happy to help with any queries. Overall a very pleasant place to stay and will definitely come again when I visit the Lakes next.

    Amazing experience in a hidden gem, exceeded expectations!
    Hidden gem! Staff were absolutely lovely, breakfast was great with lots of options whilst sat with amazing views, room was super cosy. Lovely cosy welcoming feel to the whole place. Easy, quick check in & out.
    Everything was perfect just wish we had a mini fridge for water/milk but not a deal breaker

    Nice hotel. Noisey guests in the bar until 1am
    Nicely situated, good reception rooms.
    Room on ground floor next to lounge. The noise was terrible until 1am!!

    Relaxing historic hotel with lots of modern comforts and friendly service
    Delicious breakfast a very warm welcome friendly helpful staff very comfortable luxurious bed and towels
    Our room no. 9 wasnt as big as I thought it might be

    Exceptional English experience
    Warm, cozy, homely atmosphere. Very courteous staff, good food, beautiful rooms. Fabulous surroundings and view of lake Windermere.
    The location is a bit away from the nearest town which is Bowness on Windermere. On a sunny day it is fine but otherwise you won't be able to walk to and fro. You need a taxi to ferry you up and down which can cost 4 to 5 pounds one way.
