    Guests had an excellent stay at Lingwood Lodge in Bowness on Windermere, praising the splendid location near the marina and downtown area. They described the family room as beautifully appointed, cle (Read More)an, and well-equipped. Communication with staff was excellent, and on-site parking was convenient. Guests enjoyed the hospitality of the hosts, highlighting the spotless hotel and delicious breakfast. The lodge's proximity to Beatrix Potter World and the lake was also appreciated.

    Good comfortable base for exploring the area
    Great location, comfortable beds, easy check in and plenty of parking. Remote check in, but staff very contactable.
    Slightly disappointed that breakfast was just provided in the fridge (although plenty of bits, there were out of date yoghurts).

    Comfortable stay in a quiet area close to Marina
    It is a very clean and looked after place. Nigel cooks very well too. Best omelettes ! Friendly and discrete staff. Helpful with advice and assistance.
    Big rooms but tiny common areas. Breakfast room has no windows. I did not receive the room that I booked and was expected to pay the same for a smaller one. After pointing this out I was offered a little discount however this didnt cover the difference in prices. That was the biggest letdown as our stay overall was a pleasant experience.
