    Unique experience with an amazing view. Very special to live in a exclusive tent in a tea lodge! Strongly recommend.
    One and a half hour drive from Kandy, the road up the mountain is in bad shape. If you easily get carsick, it could be challenging.

    Little peace of paradise.
    Nature, staff, accomidation, food, organised trips and activities.... everything was superb.
    If you are driving there by yourself, be aware that the road is a nightmare! Maybe it is easier with a 4x4, but we drove a tuk tuk and it wasn't fun at all.

    Beautiful stay with stunning scenery and wonderful staff
    Everything! The view was spectacular, especially waking to watch the sunrise over the Knuckles range. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; their attention to detail and kindness organising activities and transfers was hugely appreciated. We visited a local tea factory and hiked to mini worlds end, which included an excellent tour of the kitchen garden. I highly recommend the Sri Lankan curry on the menu!
    That we had to leave! The road up is quite uneven in places so I recommend organising a transfer through the hotel or a reputable transfer company. We used the pickme app to get a taxi from Kandy station and it was not a pleasant journey as the driver didnt know the roads and took several wrong turns. For our return we booked through the hotel and the journey was smooth, pleasant and altogether so much better.

    Absolute must while visiting Sri Lanka
    We loved the location and the view. Beautiful hotel and decoration. Breakfast was great but quite basic.
    After staying two nights, I do think that the price is a bit high for the facilities and proposed services.

    Lovely but very poor access
    Tent room was fab, as were the surroundings and views. Food was lovely, staff helpful and friendly.
    The access was a major turn off unfortunately as much as we liked the place the road to get there is horrendous - bumpy, potholed, twisty, narrow and well over an hour like this. Our very experienced driver was fine and got us there ok but ideally need a 4x4 or better still find a helicopter to get there! Was litter still on our balcony which wasn't great. Mind out for the monkeys, if they eat while sat on your roof it rolls off into the plunge pool or hits you if unlucky! Also they leave little 'presents' lying about so take care not to step in them ha. Gave us wrong keys for padlocks to tent first so double check before you lock it and can't get back in! (You need to lock it because of monkeys).
