A basic, comfortable room in a good location in downtown San Diego, close to many restaurants, the bay and area attractions. The hotel's amenity highlights included the robes in the room and the water in the lobby.
In a hotel with a resort/destination fee, I would expect services that justify the fee. The WiFi is not a secure connection. The pool is only 3-feet deep, so completely useless for an adult. Also, the non-stop music from the pool area is annoying. You can even hear it through the closed window. The hotel room has a "chill" hangtag for the door to indicate "do not disturb," but not a "please make up the room" hangtag, and our room was not cleaned on one of our days as we didn't think of asking the front desk when we went out at around 11 am. The TV had a poor selection of channels.

Modern, comfortable, fun location - very much enjoyed relaxing at the poolside bar at the end of each day.
Location is great - lots of fun places to eat within a short walk.
I wasn't expecting parking to cost as much as it did.
Be sure to factor in costs like parking and resort fees before booking to ensure you are happy with the price you are paying. We thoroughly enjoyed outstay - it was just a little more expensive than we expected.

Lovely place but service wasnt great.
Lovely room, new and comfortable.
We booked a room for three, paid for three but git keys, towels, coffees only for two.
First day they come to clean the room at 5pm when we just got back from a day out and wanted to nap.
Front desk staff during the checking wasnt very friendly.

Location was perfect - we were able to walk to all of our destinations. The lobby is beautiful. The staff were nice. The rooms/beds were comfortable.
No self-parking. Valet $60/night. The room next door to us had a loud party with lots of people late into the night.

Great location, fun decor, clean, and very comfortable beds!
The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter with lots of restaurants, bars, transportation and Petco Park close by you can walk to everything. The hotel was very clean, we loved the vibes and the decor. Our room was very clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable we didn't want to get out of bed. 10/10!
