    The Marmara Guesthouse offers a beautiful view of the water from the terrace and is located close to Sultanahmet sights. The breakfast is extensive and the staff are helpful and accommodating. The ro (Read More)oms, while clean and tidy, may be worn and tired for some travelers. The laundry service is available and the staff are friendly. Overall, guests highly recommend the guesthouse for its value, location, and breakfast buffet. Some downsides include the lack of an elevator and noise from the washing machines.

    Lovely little place.
    Everything! We stayed in a room on the first floor. Room was clean, spacious. Staff was very friendly.
    All hallways are very narrow. Getting to the terrace is a bit of like a maze.

    Fantastic staff, all very personable and engaging. Decor showcased local crafts. Room very nice.
    The buffet breakfast, served on the roof top terrace overlooking the Bosphorus, was epic. You could help yourself to over 40 dishes of fresh and dried fruits, jams, cakes, salads and local specialties, juices, tea and coffee.
    Not that I didn't "like" this, but the hotel should warn people that to access most of the rooms and the terrace there are steps. People with mobility problems might have difficulties.

    Perfectly placed both in position and price wise.
    The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is to die for, always set us up for the day and the choice was incredible. The guest house is conveniently placed and we found it a great point to start off each days adventures.
    Very little to complain about but if I were to pick our bed was incredibly squeaky, you only had to roll over and the noise would sometimes wake one of you. But Im sure its easily remedied.
