The place to stay in Serengeti to make it a once in a life experience
Superb facility in a wonderful area. Perfectly organized pick up, game drives (John was incredible in spotting all animals, even leopards and chitas). Staff is highly proactive and perfectly managed by Rocio who gives a special touch to this brilliant hotel
Maybe some additional kid friendly standard plates. Menu is very high cuisine and extraordinary for the remote area and related logistics which are managed brilliantly

The best experience ever
The best experience ever. We have been delighted to stay at Melia Serengeti Lodge in a wonderful Suite which offers a stunning view of the Serengeti National Park and its flourishing wild. The establishment is obviously amazing, but its more than just being in the most amazing place of Serengeti. The staff is like a family which take care of you from your arrival, David L. and Fernando M. the managers provided such attention to us, we have no word strong enough to say how much we have been pleased to share those moments. The Senegalese Chef, Majid, Chacha, Dyckson, the Masai warriors, we will remember and keep beloved souvenirs of them.

We had a decent stay, but we might not come back.
Temperature controlled rooms. Beautiful relaxing view. Good polite staff, although sometimes it felt like they never got the order right, the first time. Nice clean premises.
Too far from central Serengeti and any animal activity . Food was bad. Need to change your chef. Everything tasted like Swahili flavor. Even the pasta. No cohesive menu. They served sushi and tandoori chicken in the same plate. It was a disaster. Extra for laundry was not appreciated given that everywhere else laundry was included in the night price.

The trip of our lifetime!
Everything was awesome! We stayed for 4D3N and it was totally the best travel experience we've ever had by far! The location is just perfectly in the heart of Serengeti. All staff were so incredibly friendly and kind. Covid-19 protocol was taken properly. All the meals provided during our stay were undoubtedly satisfying, each with different experience from different spots. Wifi, hot water, and everything else worked fine. Our lagoon room in our first two nights was incredibly clean and the bed was comfy. When switched to the suite room in our third night, it totally came with magnificent view. Everything were built, put, and designed with such meticulous details, the savannah view from the room was absolutely gorgeous. Cocktails were amazing. The staff surprised us with a romantic dinner in our room and it was totally splendid (kudos to Cesar, David, and the team!). To conclude, Melia has provided us the best experience of our lifetime! The game drive was amazing, we luckily managed to see part of the wildebeest migration in Serengeti. Thank you especially to David and Cesar for all of the assistance during our stay there, thank you for the surprises, and also for the balloon safari experience which was definitely making our experience there better, the airport transfer etc, and thanks to David who helped us to be in contact with Melia Zanzibar to continue our itinerary over there (Also, thanks to Elias who always kindly assisted us by providing all the information and help we need prior our arrival, and to help for rescheduling our stay etc as our flight to Seronera got canceled on the last minute). Definitely will recommend Melia to our families and colleagues, and we will definitely come back there once we go to Serengeti again!
