    Staff were lovely and breakfast buffet was delicious.
    Room was outdated and smelly. Was a bit gross, definitely would not stay again and terrible value for money. Sort of like a motel. Bedsheets were gross. The doona wasnt inside a doona cover, was just a loose sheet covering it. There was also no fitted sheet. Just a loose sheet again on the mattress which seemed old and worn out. The room was also super hot and the air con was woeful. Daughter also got a nasty staph infection from there, not sure if from bed or from pool, but was definitely from the hotel. Mercure also didnt charge full price of our stay for some unknown reason (we booked 9 or so months ago) so were hit with nearly $300 charge after we had checked out. My parents were staying in another room and their room was lovely and refurbished, so I guess its just luck of the draw. In saying that, I felt like we paid $1500 for a staph infection. We left a day early. We stayed in Building 9, room 9108.

    Resort was about 5 mins from the nearest beach and was nice and peaceful for families. There was a kids room which had PlayStation? and some old toys. Room size was decent, there was coin operated laundry and there were 2 pools; 1 main and the other smaller and less crowded. Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom was modern and decent. Pool seems heated or water was warm.
    Swimming pool was filthy with lots of hair floating around and the water was murky. Guests were also drinking in the pool and service staff didnt care. Our first room had a musky smell and wet carpet from a leak. We were given another room but there was a wasp nest under the balcony table.

    I loved the excellence and welcoming nature of all the staff but especially Daniella of reception , also the location and cleanliness of the resort. Very welcoming of families. Their deck dining and cocktails were amazing as a little retreat for mums and dads to have a mini getaway. Five service
    Unfortunately, my only dislike was the floods that we encountered, which were out of anyone's control.

    Room was excellent. Sparkling clean and well maintained. Spacious balcony was an added advantage. Due to soring temperature of 38 degree C, aircon wasn't able to cope-up and it was fairly warm. Additional fans might need to be installed to make it cooler for such hot months.
    Breakfast was a disappointment. We are vegetarians and there wasn't much option for vegetarians. It would have been good if more vegetarian options were available.

    Its resort style, under cover car park, spacious room.
    The room and facilities were a bit old, balcony view was obstructed by trees, 10 mins drive from the nearest beach, not value for money.
