Meritol Delivers on Expectation of Staying in Hanoi
From time we arrived, staff were friendly and responsive and noted, always greeted staff moving into/out of the hotel.
Staff were helpful and knowledgeable on places to go etc.
Location is excellent to go shopping, eating and entertainment with many hidden gems to find.
Nothing in particular except costs were higher generally than expected but December is high season.
Otherwise, It was a great stay.

Overall nice hotel
A bit stress with the checkout. Reception calling already about 1 hour before checkout time asking when we leave. Cleaning lady also asking when we intend to leave.

Family of four traveling in Vietnam
Spacious room and comfortable beds.
Staff always try to do their best to make us happy.
The soundproofing need some work, I understand that the street is busy, but a good soundproofing can easily solve that.
The breakfast manager checking if you had or not breakfast included in your hotel reservation need to improve his customer service skills. (How yo ask, how to approach,how to has if the customer would like to pay to have breakfast, etc.)
Other than that, everyone was awesome.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Special shoutout to Mike for the excellent advice and warm welcome! Hotel is located in a great neighbourhood. Everything (room, gym, wellness) was super clean and comfortable. Because we had a room with no street windows we were not at all bothered by the busy traffic noises.
Conclusion: superb stay for a reasonable price!
Although we paid for a private sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi slot in the wellness, there was another guest present.

The staff, especially Alex and Mike in reception were awesome, spoke very good English and check in was very smooth. They guided us what to see, do, eat in Hanoi.
Breakfast was good, great coffee!
Room and bathroom a little small but was clean. Needs more light..

Great location. We has a minor incident with our room. We rang reception and 10 mins later someone was there to rectify the issue. Crossing the street is always an issue in hanoi, however every time the door person always assisted all guests across the road, regardless of leaving or entering the hotel. Cannot recommend highly enough

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, and would consider staying at this place if we come back.
It is clean, cosy with full range of facilities. The ambience was pleasant and inviting, when we checked in. I was impressed with the deco of this hotel.
Excellent and meticulous attention provided by Ms Mia, makes you feel more welcome and attend to our requests. The facilities are excellent, Clean rooms and beautiful toilets with nice brass fittings,
The hotel was putting up some Xmas deco, so part of the ambience is affected. But nevertheless they have done a good job to maintain the same warm ambience .
We stayed in the room facing the road, the 2nd night was a little noisy, Fortunately, it was only for a short while, I believe this is beyond the hotel's control. And it did not really affected our rest much anyway.
