The room wasnt fully clean. It was obviously spot cleaned but for the price (and health & safety) a hotel room should be close to spotless. It was only cleanish. Since daily housekeeping wasnt even available, supplying basic cleaning material to the room would help.

Slum not a Sweet (Suite)

Location was OK, staff were friendly but under pressure which you could see. Could of done with at least another 2 x on the front desk.

Where do I start! Check in was a debacle, we were unable to get our room till after 3pm! Get up the lifts to get to our room - took 10min! Whilst waiting & talking to others that had checked into there room they demanded another as it was filthy! Hair in the sink, dirty shower & smell in the room, just like ours! Our room was spacious but filthy! Bench was clear but food in corner of the bench, hair on the floor by the bed (long dark hair) shower had bad mold & the room smelt like a bad odor of rubbish. It was coming from the sink vents. We upgraded to a balcony but what a mistake! It was filthy, the windows were not cleaned & the tiles were all covered in dust & grime! Not serviced at all!!! And we paid extra so we could sit outside and enjoy the view! Very very disappointed! We paid top dollar for a disgusting stay, five nights!! Will never never stay at a Meritan Suite's ever again! We would of moved out but Sydney was fully booked, except for another Meritan location which I was not prepared to do. DISCUSTING! I should of taken photos!!!!

Location. Close to Darling Harbour, Train Stations & Cafes

Kitchen area didn't look as though it had been cleaned. Bench top sticky, coffee machine stank.of old milk and was unusable, couch stained.

the staff were friendly

however the room was horrible dirty bugs in the bathroom broken door handle the drain was loose the aircon was so loud that we couldnt even bare to sleep as it was so hot i will be emailing to follow up further as we are disgusted with our stay it is not what you expect from a meriton especially on new years eve.
