    Middlehead Cottages offer a peaceful and relaxing break, with clean and homely cottages that have all necessary amenities. The hosts are friendly and the location is beautiful, with a short drive to (Read More)Pickering and Whitby. Guests enjoyed the hot tub and feeding the geese and fish on-site. However, the nearest pub is a tricky and long walk away, making it an ideal spot for a quiet getaway.

    Lots of little extras included. Attention to detail was great. They couldn't do enough for us. Great with the kids and our dog. Lots of towels and robes. Hot tub was a great feature too.

    Wonderful weekend which suited us all from youngest aged 2 to 75 year old grandparents
    Very comfortable and thoughtfully done. The hot tubs were fantastic for the children on a cold rainy day
    It would have been nice to have a bigger dining table as we were a in 3 cottages but all wanted to eat together

    Fabulous cottages in a very peaceful location.
    We love it at Middlehead Cottages and return every year. A great place in the middle of woodland to relax. We take our dog and he absolutely loves the fields and woodland to explore.

    Amazing hideaway in the forest
    The owners are very helpful and accommodating. The property is super clean and comfortable.
    The hot water in the shower took ages to heat up. Maybe some instructions would be useful.

    Perfect stay over for dogs and people. Host friendly and accommodating.
    Facilities were great and the hot tub was a very welcome addition after a long walk on the moors.
    Bed was extremely hard.
